This place is located where Pho Shizzle used to be at, in the same plaza as the DOL.
There is different weekend special. Bun Man Vit (duck bamboo soup) every Sunday and a different special dish every weekend. If you call in on Thursday or Friday, they can tell you what the special is.
I usually get the com ga hai nam (hainanese chicken), only serve on the weekend. It's a chicken rice and steamed chicken, paired with a sweet ginger sauce. Portion is really generous. -

Ordered the steak and meatball Pho.
They sent the steak raw.
The raw steak was next to the cooked noodles allowing for cross contamination.
When called and asked if the steak was really raw they said "yeah... you're supposed to cook it yourself."
Is that a real thing?
Am I culturally ignorant? (Ok if so.)
Even if that's the case, the raw meat should be packaged separately from the cooked food.
Maybe there should be a sign on the box saying "your beef is RAW. Cook before eating (if you want)" for people like me? -

I like their special chicken rice dish offered on the weekend. The chicken cooked just right. The rice is on the dry side which is my favorite. My kids prefer softer rice but for this dish, it should be dry. Pho is ok; however the portion is generous so it is a plus. Their bean sprouts look clean than any other pho places I have been to.

My go-to takeout place for Viet food. The pho broth here is so delicious, bursting with flavors and more to the sweet side. Rice plates (either with Pork chops, or Chicken Hainan on the weekend) are pretty good too. Great marinating on the proteins and dipping sauce. Portions for carbs are generous so I often tell them to go light on the noodles/ rice. Dining-in is not a great experience so far for me, since they're under-staff on the weekends and the atmosphere here is so-so. Food is great though, so take-out is the way to go.
